Q. Where will you be located? Most likely east of I65 where much of Athens is growing.

Q. When will worship begin? First we want to focus on growing a church then we’ll focus on worship. Rushing to worship is one of the downfalls of new church plants.

Q. How do you grow a church without worship? It starts with a Launch Team of people that have a heart for people that don’t know Christ. People who desperately want to impact the city of Athens.

That Launch Team will begin to meet in various ways. One week we may meet for prayer… Another to eat together… Another to worship together. Another at an Athens City Event… Sometimes we’ll meet to worship at another church together to learn. Another we’ll do a mission project together.

We will also offer interest gathering open to anyone that would like to know more about Crosswinds.

Once we have a large core group we will look for rental space and set a date to launch our first worship.

Q. Traditional or Contemporary Worship? We will be offering contemporary worship but also open to offering traditional if there is enough interest.

Q. Sunday School or Small Groups? We believe in small groups that can meet when and wherever they choose.

Q. Build or Rent? We prefer to rent space if possible. Renting provides more options for growth and multi-sites.
