A simple path we want everyone to take.

COME → FOLLOW → SERVE → MULTIPLY

At Crosswinds, we believe following Jesus is a journey. Our hope is that everyone would take the next step—from discovering Crosswinds, to becoming an apprentice of Jesus, to serving others, and eventually helping others follow Jesus too.

1. COME

Come and Discover

Come and discover who we are and what we’re about.

  • Be our guest for a few weeks and see if Crosswinds might be a good fit for you.

  • Take your time. There’s no pressure.

  • Ask questions.

  • Meet people and experience our community.

The goal:Come and see.

2. FOLLOW

Become an Apprentice of Jesus

Following Jesus means more than attending church. We want to become apprentices of Jesus—people who learn from Him and increasingly live like Him.

Start with Jesus

  • Read the Gospel of Mark for a clear picture of Jesus and His ministry.

  • Read the Book of Acts to see the early church and the power of the invitation.

Find Community

Get connected with others through a Community Group, such as:

  • Bible Study Groups

  • Infinity Groups

    • Groups that meet around a shared interest

Start Doing Jesus Stuff

Begin developing simple spiritual practices:

  • Scripture — Read and learn God's Word.

  • Prayer — Talk with God and listen to Him.

  • Worship — Make worship a way of life.

  • Community — Follow Jesus with other people.

  • Generosity — Practice giving and living open-handedly.

And then do something with what you’re learning.

Crosswinds isn't just about knowing.

We are focused on doing.

The goal:Learn from Jesus and live like Jesus.

3. SERVE

Love and Serve Others

Following Jesus naturally leads us to serve others.

We want to serve both inside and outside Crosswinds.

Serve Inside Crosswinds

Find a place to use your gifts and help others:

  • Kids

  • Students

  • Worship

  • Hospitality

  • Groups

  • Setup & Support

  • Other areas of ministry

Serve Outside Crosswinds

We want to be deeply invested in our community.

Look for opportunities to serve through:

  • Nonprofits

  • Local schools

  • Community organizations

  • Neighborhood initiatives

  • Other places where people need help

The goal:Love our community by serving others.

4. MULTIPLY

Help Others Follow Jesus

Jesus calls His followers to make disciples.

At Crosswinds, we don't want discipleship to stop with us. What we receive, we pass on.

The first step in making a disciple is often simple:

Invite someone.

Your invitation can start the journey for someone else:

COME → FOLLOW → SERVE → MULTIPLY

You invite someone to Come.

They begin to Follow Jesus.

They learn to Serve others.

And eventually, they Multiply by helping someone else take the same journey.

The goal:Help someone else follow Jesus.
